Graham Hearn, DDS, MSD
Dr. Hearn is a board certified pediatric dentist and he is excited to join the team at Seattle Pediatric Dentists. He has a passion for providing patient-centered, scientifically-based care. He left his childhood citrus farm in Visalia, California to complete his undergraduate education at UC San Diego in sunny La Jolla, then dental school at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. He completed a two-year General Practice Residency at the University of Virginia and his Pediatric Dentistry residency at the University of Washington, and was chief resident at both programs. He has also served as faculty at the University of Washington and worked in private practice in Northern California.
In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors: backpacking, climbing, traveling, skiing, and spending time with friends and family.
“Every child deserves a great smile and to have a great experience at the dentist. Seeing the dentist should be fun, relaxing, and inspire a lifetime of healthy teeth!”
Meet Our Team!
Our primary asset is our talented and friendly staff...
Your child’s appointment will be comfortable and enjoyable because of the extensive training our team has received and the relaxed environment that we have created.
We cultivate a relationship with each of our patients, which not only ensures better children’s dental care, but also turns a visit with our doctors and team into a visit between friends. Our team members look forward to enjoying a long-term relationship with both you and your children.
We are available
in Magnolia W, F-Sat • in Queen Anne F-Sat
in Laurelhurst M-Th
Our doctor on call can be reached at
anytime for after hour emergencies.
Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request 48-hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. A cancellation fee will be charged if less than 48 hours notice is given.
Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.
Your treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered. Charges are payable at the time of treatment.
We accept payments by cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Please ask a member of our staff, and we will review our payment options to accommodate your financial needs. If special arrangements are needed, please talk to our office manager prior to receiving service.
Although we participate with most major dental insurances, it is difficult to participate in all insurances. We welcome you to our office even If we are out of network with your insurance. With many out of network plans, there is often little or no difference in the out of pocket expense going out of network with our office. We are happy to discuss all of these options with you.
First Visit to Our Office
During your child’s first visit to our office, we want to take the time to get acquainted and gather information. This includes getting to know you and your child building a friendship with them while doing a thorough examination. Depending on your child’s age we could possibly take digital x-rays we feel may be required to make a complete diagnosis. At this time we will also discuss with you the nature of any dental care if necessary.
Please print and fill out our New Patient Forms.
Bring them with you at first appointment, Thank You.
What is a Pediatric Dentist?
A Pediatric Dentist, like Dr. Dupuis and Dr. Hearn, is a specialist dedicated to the oral health of children and the monitoring of their facial growth and development. Our office is designed for treating children from infancy through adolescence, as well as the medically and the physically compromised. In our opinion, taking your child to see a pediatric dental specialist is as important as taking them to see a pediatrician.
What is a Board Certified
When a Pediatric Dentist is Board Certified it means that the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry or ABPD certifies that the dental care being provided is based on standards of excellence that lead to high quality oral health care for infants, children, adolescents and patients with special health care needs. Certification by the ABPD provides assurance to the public that a Pediatric Dentist like Dr. Dupuis and Dr.Hearn have successfully completed accredited training and a voluntary examination process designed to continually validate the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to the delivery of quality patient care.
Establishing Your Child’s Dental Home
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry encourages parents and other care providers to help every child establish a dental home by 12 months of age. Establishing a dental home provides some key components to dental care for your child including...
• Comprehensive oral health care including acute care and
• Individualized preventive dental health program based upon a
• Anticipatory guidance regarding growth and development.
• Plan for acute dental trauma (emergencies).
• Dietary counseling.
• Referrals to dental specialists when care cannot directly be provided within the dental home.
• Referral at an age determined by patient, parent,
and pediatric dentist.
We’re proud of what people are saying about our office!
Took our 3yo to the dentist for the first time after a traumatic mouth injury some time before. The hygienist was so amazing with him and so patient. We got through the full appt even with x-rays and he left with a big smile on his face. Not to mention the lobby is so fun for kids while you wait.

We have been coming to this office for 20 years and wirh 4 children and couldn't be happier! Great people!! ♡

I am a current employee at Seattle Pediatric Dentists and I love my job! I live in north Everett and have no problem fighting the hour+ traffic every day to work for such a great dentist and team. People are always shocked I commute that far when there are dental offices everywhere and much closer to home, but I want to work for the best! I love my team members and the family that is built here through patients and parents. So come check us out! Your kids will love it just like me.
- Marissa B.
I am a father of a busy 2yr old girl who can not sit still for a second. I was nervous myself for her first visit unsure of what to expect. I was surprisingly shocked at how well the hygienists worked with her. They are great with kids! The way they interacted with her making it fun and easy, ended with my daughter getting a full cleaning done. The hygienist soon went from stranger to friends. I recommend this office to any dads and families out there.

Doctor is the BEST! Great staff! Never long wait times. He has been taking care of my daughter and her cousins for many years. All the kids love him.
- Jim B.
A friend of mine recommended this office, and I'm so glad I followed her advice.
Everything, from the warm manner of the staff to every detail of the office aesthetics (model airplanes hanging from the ceiling = nice touch) made my little guy feel comfortable at the dentist for the first time.
My son left the office proudly proclaiming, "The doctor and I are BFFs!"
And it gets better...
Every day after school for the rest of the week my son said, "I told everyone in class how he is my new BFF and the best dentist ever." :)
- Bella S.
This is an absolutely perfect dental practice for children! I have been taking my daughter here since she was a year old. To a person, everyone in the office is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Dental offices are scary for kids but they do a great job of making kids comfortable. They have a playroom with toys in the waiting area and give kids a little toy or trinket when leaving.
- Peter N.
Great place for kids. The staff is courteous and fun.
Doctor is great with my daughter. I would highly recommend.
- Pammy K.
We've been going to this office for several years (our kids are 4 and 9) and every dental appointment has gone off without a hitch. They are terrific with young children and the office staff is super nice. I NEVER see any crying kids whenever we go there - a good sign!
